Peter Binkley is the Digital Scholarship Technologies Librarian. He holds a Ph.D. in Medieval Studies as well as an MLIS. He has worked in several areas of digital librarianship at University of Alberta, including digitization (the Peel's Prairie Portal site), the institutional repository (ERA), digital preservation, and the data repository (Dataverse). His areas of special expertise include linked open data, minimal computing approaches, IIIF (the modern framework for online interactive images), and social media harvesting. He is available for one-on-one consultations on technology options for specific research projects.
