Description

The Digital Scholarship Centre is an academic centre designed to facilitate scholarly activities, including research and hands-on learning. 

Access to the collaboration rooms is currently limited to faculty, graduate students, University staff, and other researchers only. Undergraduate students are encouraged to visit the Libraries Study Spaces page to find a space across 8 locations. We reserve the right to decline booking requests anytime.

Collaboration rooms are equipped with a large TV display that can be connected to wirelessly using a VIA Kramer app. The rooms have a table and chairs for 5 people. 

These spaces are available to University of Alberta researchers for collaborative work. Supported uses include:

  • working on a research project,
  • holding research team meetings,
  • video conferencing with collaborators,
  • librarian-researcher consultations.

As we require a 24 hour notice to book this space, the availability is displayed for the following business day.
