The VR lab has one Valve Index VR Kit and one Meta Quest Pro Kit to be used during bookings.Other technology includes a workstation, a large 32 inch screen for viewing, and seating for up to four individuals.
Explore the VR Program Catalogue to view available programs for the Meta Quest and Valve Index, as well as motion sickness ratings and other useful information.
Lab Policy:
- VR studio is bookable by the University of Alberta, faculty, staff, and students (CCID will be required)
- 2 hour maximum bookings per person during VR Lab hours
- First-time users need to complete a short tutorial with a designated Sperber staff member
- No food or drink in the VR Lab
- Equipment cannot be removed from the room
- Please clean headsets and controllers using the UV Cleaning Station before each session
