Description: This hands-on workshop will invite participants to handle a variety of miniature books and discuss why they captivate our attention. There are many reasons why collectors and libraries acquire miniature books, from their aesthetic qualities to their specialized content, but for some collectors the most important reason is their fascination with the Lilliputian format. If you are interested in exploring the delightful world of miniature books, then please join us for a lively discussion as we all have a close look at some of the most aesthetically pleasing features of teeny marvels from the Peel library. This in-person workshop will be held in Bruce Peel Special Collections (basement of Rutherford South) and is capped at 8 participants.
