Need help getting started on a systematic (or scoping) review? This three-part workshop will show you the ropes on how to develop comprehensive searches! The sessions are sequential, later sessions building on knowledge from earlier ones.
When you register for this workshop, you'll be automatically registered for all 3 days (Jan 28-30). Each session runs from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. It is not mandatory to attend all 3 workshops.
Jan 28 (Step 1) - Methodology introduction, determine the feasibility of your review
Jan 29 (Step 2) - Structured systematic searching, execute MEDLINE search
Jan 30 (Step 3) - Translate searches, manage your review, searching documentation/reporting, grey literature searching
Participants who miss a session can catch up using the online asynchronous tutorial Searching to Support Systematic, Scoping, and Other Types of Reviews: Search Skills Tutorial https://rise.articulate.com/share/ECpl12nr8cb5FiiFZ3K21purm9qnLguF#/
Sessions will be online and registrants will be sent Zoom links to join prior to the start of the workshop. Please contact Allison Sivak (asivak@ualberta.ca) if you have any questions.
