Research Communications: Digital Photography Basics
While most of us carry a camera device with us every day, how many of us actually know how to use it to its full potential? We are living in a visual world where we take and share photos every day and these images are a key part of modern communication. This workshop is designed to introduce you to digital photography at a basic level to make you more confident in taking photos either for your research, classwork, or in your personal life. We will cover the technical and greater social aspects of photography. You will learn to be more careful about how you take photos and make good use of light and manual settings on a camera.
This workshop is being held in the Digital Scholarship Centre on Cameron Library, 2nd Floor.
What you need:
- Either a mobile phone camera or a DSLR Camera.
