Research Communications: Being Strategic

Research Communications: Being Strategic

You have some great ideas on how you might share your research but do you have a plan?  A good research communication plan makes your research findable and memorable. This workshop will introduce concrete analytical steps that researchers can take to develop a strategic communication plan. Participants will learn to conduct a landscape scan, understand different audiences and identify visuals to better frame your communication campaigns.

"Being Strategic" is the foundational workshop for a series of DSC workshops we offer on Research Communication. Whether you are a seasoned faculty member or an undergrad venturing into research for the first time, this workshop will help you to work through some analytical exercises so you can better plan how you communicate the results of your research. The workshop will also help you to consider new and alternative ways of sharing research findings.

This workshop is being held in the Digital Scholarship Centre on Cameron Library, 2nd Floor.
