Multilingual Publishing: Editorial Lunch & Learn

Multilingual Publishing: Editorial Lunch & Learn

Join us for the next Open Publishing Editorial Lunch and Learn on Multilingual Publishing. This session will be presented by Emma Uhl from the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) and will focus on the benefits, challenges, publishing options, how-to steps, and best practices for basic multilingual metadata use in OJS.

The Public Knowledge Project (PKP) strives to increase access and reach of scholarly publishing. Decentralizing English and promoting publishing in multiple languages is one way to encourage all of those involved at every step in the publishing process to engage with valuable research that might otherwise be overlooked.

Speaker: Emma Uhl

Emma Uhl is a Documentation & Multilingualism Specialist at the Public Knowledge Project. She serves as the liaison for the organization’s Documentation Interest Group and Multilingualism Interest Group.
