Digital Scholarship Speaker Series: Stephen Webb
Stephen Webb from the University of Alberta's English & Film Studies Department will share the method in his digital recreation of Lord Byron's personal library. Through databasing and visualizing, the recreation attempts to elucidate the relationships entailed in the way Byron organized his library.
The Digital Scholarship Speaker Series aims to foster conversations about research and technology methods. The DSC invites scholars and researchers from and beyond the University of Alberta community to share the methods they used and exchange ideas with participants. Each talk will be approximately 45-minute long, reserving 15 minutes for questions and discussions.
This talk is delivered in a hybrid model. Participants can choose to join the live session in the Digital Scholarship Centre in Cameron Library, 2nd Floor, or via Zoom.
