The Indigenous Peoples Atlas of Canada - Giant Floor Map Activity
The Indigenous Peoples Atlas of Canada giant floor map is designed to help foster an understanding of Indigenous perspectives, including the past, present and future of Indigenous Peoples in Canada. Feel free to register to attend, but drop-ins are very welcome!
The 8m x 11m vinyl map will be on display in the Physical Activity and Wellness Centre Student Lounge (located at the north end of Social Street in the Van Vliet Complex). The Indigenous Peoples Atlas of Canada map shows the locations of Indigenous communities, residential schools, reserves, and more, including Indigenous language groups.
Come any time between 12:00pm and 4:00pm and engage with the map and members of the Library's Indigenous Initiatives Team as you take a walk across the land we call Canada.
