Support your research with data management planning!

James Doiron, UofA Libraries Research Data Management Services Coordinator, will offer an applied session focused upon data management planning. Topics covered will include the importance and benefits of DMPs, how they can support your research, what makes a ‘good’ DMP, as well as an in-depth look at their content. Both a hands-on demonstration of the freely available Portage Data Management Planning (DMP) Assistant as well as important updates regarding this platform will be offered. Participants are welcome to create an account prior to the session should they wish to learn to navigate and use this gold standard data management planning tool. Additionally, resources to help you develop your own DMP - including guidance documents and Exemplar DMPs - will be provided!

A Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants closer to the date of the workshop. This session will be recorded. Please refrain from enrolling if you cannot attend the session as limited "seats" are available. Links to recordings will be available to all.
