Effective Searching in the Health Sciences

Effective Searching in the Health Sciences

Have you ever gone to look for something that you knew was out there but just couldn't find it? Ever felt frustrated and overwhelmed when trying to find an article to support your research? Do you use Google because it's easier than standard bibliographic databases; only to be plagued with the guilt of knowing you've probably missed a key article?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should consider taking this workshop. We will provide tips and tricks to help you structure an effective search strategy to help you locate, evaluate, and use information effectively.

Please come with a research question but it is not required.
