Research Communications: Advanced Video Techniques
Want to take your videos to the next level? In this workshop, we will explore some more advanced techniques and aspects of video production. We will learn the basics of colour correction and colour grading, green screen chroma key techniques, and stop animation. We will also begin to explore programs like Adobe After Effects for creating title and credit sequences. Although DSC workshops do not have prerequisites, we highly recommend you have some experience using Adobe Premiere Pro or have taken Video Production Basics or Video Editing in Premiere Pro before joining this workshop.
What the participants need: Participants can bring a laptop or device if they wish to take notes.
Completion of this workshop can contribute to a partial requirement of The University of Alberta Professional Development program by the Faculty of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies (GPS). Information on how attendance will be recorded will be discussed in the workshop.
